Gamma Xi Chapter

University of California, Los Angeles

Welcome to Kappa Kappa Gamma at University of California, Los Angeles! On behalf of the entire Gamma Xi chapter, I would like to welcome you to our website. I hope that exploring this platform can help you gain some insight into our chapter and what our members are all about. Beyond that, I hope you’ll be able to see how Kappa has impacted my personal collegiate experience into the best four years I could have imagined.

KKG is an organization that seeks to build life-long bonds of friendships between our members, as well as endless support, opportunities, respect, and an overall understanding of our high ethical values and principles. I would describe our Gamma Xi chapter as a pure reflection of Kappa nationals, one which seeks to empower all Kappas through life-long bonds with women coming from all different backgrounds. The past year’s social justice movements have made our organization as a whole reflect on the historically racist ties of Greek Life, and we have committed to making changes within our own chapter and the greater Panhellenic community at UCLA and beyond.

As the President of the Gamma Xi chapter, I feel proud of our members and our sorority as a whole. My love towards Kappa grows as I see our members grow into determined, kind-hearted Panhellenic women throughout our college career. I am forever grateful for what a lot of our members have done for me, especially after having a tumultuous transition into collegiate life. Within only one week of joining Gamma xi, I already felt like I had a home away from home. Being at the house surrounded by women who are eager to get to know you better, who want to hear you, and who are constantly adding kindness into your life. Wearing our letters is more than just being a part of our chapter, it is trusting and pushing yourself to greatness, to then be able to make a difference in Panhellenic, our university, our greater community, and eventually, a difference in the world. Kappa is always about giving your best effort, and always for the good of yourself and of those around you. It is truly an honor and a privilege to be a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma.

Feel free to explore our website and discover some of the things that Gamma xi has to offer. From Saturdays spent at the Rose Bowl, volunteering with local schools, adventuring through LA together, tp going to the beach or going on hikes, UCLA Kappas are always having the best of times. I hope our website will be able to give you a sense of what it is like to be a Kappa at UCLA! Enjoy!

Kappa Love And Mine,
